Full course description
The Data for Development Level Two: Management Course begins a deeper dive into the practical setup and management of MEL systems and tools, including key concepts and skills for acquiring and managing data. We recommend that learners only complete the Level Two course after completing Level One. During Level 2, learners will move through six modules focusing on the following topics:
- Stakeholder Engagement
- MEL Planning and Design
- Information and Communications Technology (ICT) 4 MEL
- Data Management
- Basics of Data Analysis
- MEL Management
Level Two Learning Objectives
- Provide a fundamental understanding of MEL processes and approaches within the context of a program or project
- Improve MEL literacy among management staff
- Improve MEL Planning and Design practices among staff
- Ensure the inclusion of technology in MEL processes across an organization centers around around international standards and principles
- Improve data collection and management practices
- Improve understanding of appropriate data analysis techniques
- Ensure inclusive management of MEL processes
